AutoCAD Workshop Overview
AutoCAD is one of the most famous and powerful 2D and 3D design and drafting platforms. It automates design tasks, and provides digital tools so one can focus on the design rather than the software itself. Architects, engineers, drafters, and design-related professionals use AutoCAD to create, view, manage, plot, share, and reuse accurate, information-rich drawings. As this workshop is engineering-oriented, applicants need to have basic knowledge of engineering drawing.
Workshop Outline
- Introduction to AutoCAD Interface, Configuration, and Drawing Editor
- Coordinate system, layers, editing and drawing commands
- Creating Text, Lines Types, Color, Dimensions, Hatching, … etc.
- Printing & plotting basics
- 3D Modeling and editing
- Shading & Rendering, Lights & Materials
